If there is a recurring pattern to my life, it is movement.

What began in childhood as emigration from England to South Africa gradually evolved into a restless cycle of departures, returns, temporary homes, and prolonged wanderings across continents.

Over time, photography became both companion and compass within that movement — a way of observing, navigating, and making sense of unfamiliar places and shifting states of belonging.

Much of the work presented on this website emerges from that condition of continual transit.
